Warehouse Team Coordinator

About the company/role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in Northern suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Coordinator with strong leadership skills
• 6-month casual contract with potential to extend
• Fulltime, standard business hours

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Allocate tasks, monitor workflow, and support the team to achieve productivity and service targets.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, training support, and foster a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, WHS requirements, GMP standards (where applicable), and company policies.
• Monitor stock movement, support cycle counts and reconciliations, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Identify operational risks, process improvements, and support audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process transactions using warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, JDA, WMS).
• Complete operational documentation and reporting accurately and on time.

Skills/experience:

• Must have 3-4 years in similar role within warehouse or logitics operations
• Experience coordinating teams or leading day-to-day activities
• Must have forklift license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS, SAP, JDA or similar)
• Understanding of inventory management principles
• Knowledge of GMP and WHS requirements
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail
