Warehouse operator Rotating Shifts

About the company/role:

• This role is with CSL Behring in Broadmeadows. 
• Join the team as a Warehouse Materials Operator supporting the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials within a busy warehouse environment 
• FORKLIFT LICENSE IS A MUST 
• Casual contract with full-time hours
• Multiple positions available
• 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00am to 6:00pm and 6:00pm to 6:00am)
• Rotating roster consisting of 2-day shifts, 2-night shifts, followed by 4 days off
• Roster operates on an 8-week rotating cycle
• Availability to work weekends, public holidays, including Christmas and New Year periods, is essential

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Unloading materials from incoming trucks
• Operating a forklift to transport materials from outside into the warehouse
• Checking and verifying materials upon receipt
• Labelling materials accurately
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse as required
• Putting materials away using a forklift
• Maintaining general housekeeping and following all safety procedures

Skills/experience required:

• Forklift licence LF essential, LO desirable
• Ideally looking for someone with 4-5 years of GMP experince 
• Must have a white card
• Very strong attention to detail to prevent errors and costly deviations
• Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes
• Able to work independently and maintain focus
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Willingness to remain in the role long-term due to extensive training requirements
• Flexibility to work a rotating day/night roster, weekends, and public holidays
