Technician - Bulk Sample Preparation

About the company/role:

• Global mining organisation - research facility
• Based in the Northern suburbs
• 12 months casual contract, with potential to be ongoing
• Full-time hours, Mon-Fri
• Flexible start time

Duties:

• Preparation and processing of large and small bulk mineral samples using a range of techniques and equipment
• Following SOPs
• Logging and recording sample data
• General housekeeping

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience as an operator in a manufacturing or plant operations environment
• Previous experience within sample preparation is highly advantageous
• Forklift license is highly regarded
• Excellent time management and communication
• Ability to work independently
• High attention to detail
