As a Product Sales Specialist you will report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in driving sales of analytical instrumentation and building client relationships. This is a unique opportunity for a technical individual with hands-on instrumentation experience to launch their sales career.
 
Duties:
  • Drive sales of analytical testing equipment and services to new and existing clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage customer accounts and build long-term client relationships
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and consultations
  • Travel interstate for client visits and conferences
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity and compliance with ASTM and ISO standards
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track sales performance, data and customer feedback to provide reports
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure tailored product recommendations for customers

Please Note:
This role involves frequent travel. A company vehicle will be provided to support your work in the field.
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Analytical testing experience
  • Familiarity with ASTM and ISO standards (highly regarded)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or a related CRM (highly regarded)
  • Experience in instrumentation sales (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
