About the Opportunity
We are currently on the hunt for confident, organised Food Science/Engineering students who are eager to get a break in the food industry. The role available is a fantastic
PAID opportunity within the production and quality department of a renowned FMCG manufacturer located 11km South West of the CBD Brisbane.
Be involved in projects from start to finish! This includes innovation, formulations, NPD and packaging!
What do we need from you?
To be successful in the role you need to display the follow attributes:
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Food Science, Food Engineering or related science discipline.
- Available to work every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am - 4pm.
- Must be willing and capable of lifting 15kg during shifts.
- A keen interest and eye for detail to fit within a Quality and Production department.
- Bring a positive and proactive attitude.
- Perform basic laboratory and admin duties.
- A passion for the food industry and exposure to food testing and/or microbiology.
- Current Driver’s License and a vehicle as this site is difficult to access via public transport.
NOTE: Successful applicants may be required to complete medical tests, including drug screening and police checks. We encourage you to detail your university course to date, outlining key units, courses or laboratory techniques, as well as your expected completion date.
