About the Company & Role:
Our client is a Global leader in industrial water treatment solutions, helping manufacturing and industrial businesses improve water quality, asset reliability and operational performance.

An opportunity has become available for a Service Technician to join their Sydney team in a casual ongoing role. Working across customer sites throughout Sydney, you will be responsible for servicing water treatment systems, conducting water quality testing, supporting cooling tower and boiler programs, and building strong customer relationships.

This role would suit candidates from water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial maintenance, utilities, laboratory, environmental or technical service backgrounds. Science graduates with a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided.

Duties:
  • Complete scheduled service visits across customer sites throughout Sydney
  • Conduct water testing including pH, conductivity and alkalinity analysis
  • Collect water samples and record results accurately
  • Monitor cooling tower, boiler and wastewater treatment systems
  • Inspect pumps, probes, controllers and chemical dosing equipment
  • Identify treatment issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate site records
  • Conduct customer entry and exit meetings
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical support
  • Liaise with Account Managers and internal technical teams
  • Follow all safety procedures, risk assessments and chemical handling requirements

Skills & Experience:
  • Water treatment / Cooling tower / Wastewater treatment / Boiler water treatment experience – Highly Regarded
  • Science or Engineering qualification – Highly Regarded
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer sites
  • Basic computer literacy and reporting skills
