Our client, a global leader in water and process management solutions, is seeking a Service Technician.

The role: As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal application of chemical treatment programs and maintaining the production throughput of customer systems in Sydney. Your responsibilities will include equipment maintenance, water sampling, chemical analysis, and utilizing digital technology to complete service reports. Company vehicle provided.

Note: the successful candidate must be comfortable completing a criminal history check and a medical test, including drug and alcohol screening. Clean driving history required. The role is full-time, ongoing with permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment performance checks, water sampling, and chemical analysis to ensure the effective application of chemical treatment programs
  • Utilize digital technology and complete service reports accurately and timely
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering value-added and focused service
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the in-field process and water treatment services for future development opportunities
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to creating a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working in an industrial environment
  • A trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, plumber) is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to perform manual work, including technical water testing and physical activities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently
  • Desire to work in the water treatment and process chemical business
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • A valid driver's license
