This role serves as a strategic ambassador for the organization, translating deep understanding of customer needs and growth plans into tailored system and service solutions that drive customer success.
Field‑based position responsible for managing a defined territory or market, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing to sustained business growth even in challenging economic environments.
This role will cover the Eastern territory of Victoria and Tasmania.
Full-time permanent position
Duties:
Nurturing and developing existing customers with the objective of growing repeat business
Prospecting for new customers and finding new accounts and contacts to expand growth
Plan and execute business development plans to guarantee a healthy funnel creation
Achieve and exceed business goals for the assigned territory
Planning and executing the customer demonstrations with collaboration of the lab specialists
Preparing business plans, territory plans, reports, tender documents and relevant product solution documents for customers.
Using and updating the CRM regularly to ensure accurate and transparent data sharing.
Participating in additional Sales related projects and activities as designated by management.
Responsible for ensuring Quality Management System by all corrective and preventive actions as well as reporting to the management team real and potential nonconformities for appropriate actions.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
5 years of sales experience within the scientific sector, with a strong track record in analytical instrumentation across industries like pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals
Robust technical expertise in analytical technologies, including HPLC, mass spectrometry, and LC‑MS
Background in HPLC/LC‑MS method development is highly advantageous
Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms is a strong asset
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to build strong, productive relationships
