Duties:
  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies and identify optimal markets
  • Participate in regulatory agency interactions, engage with relevant regulatory authorities, industry bodies and policymakers to shape the regulatory landscape
  • Analyse regulations, assess potential risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
  • Drive initiatives to influence evolving regulatory frameworks while ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Lead the regulatory approval process to secure necessary licenses in identified markets
  • Ensure timely and compliant product launches
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, technical and commercial teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Address emerging regulatory challenges and provide regulatory solutions
  • Accountable for regulatory compliance
  • Provide expert guidance and creative regulatory solutions
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely customer compliance documentation including allergen statements, GMO food declarations, gluten-free status and 3rd party certification suitability

Skills/experience:
  • Tertiary education in Science majoring in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition Science or similar
  • Proven regulatory experience within flavor and food/beverage regulatory industry
  • Knowledge of food technology systems and food quality
  • Experience with ANZ and APAC food regulations
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and positive attitude
