About the role:
Work within a high-performance, multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and translate radiopharmaceuticals for manufacturing.
This role would be ideal for a senior chemist / global SME with radioisotope production and processing experience.
Duties will include:
- Perform experiments, research and development to produce isotopes for the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Provide scientific and technical expertise to support the growth of the Pb-212 production program, from small scale experiments, automation, scaling production, and GMP-compliant manufacturing.
- Support all aspects of production including but not limited to radiochemical separations and processing, isotope purification, SOP development, training isotope production operators on the technology and process, and implementation of the site's radiation protection program.
Skills & experience: - BS, MS or PhD in chemistry, nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical, or relevant field with analytical or radiochemistry experience
- Experience with radionuclide/radiopharmaceutical development and/or production preferred.
- Recent and relevant experience with HPLC, ICPMS and HPGe Spectrometry
- Experience with separations and solid-phase extractions or automation.
- Experience with alpha/beta/gamma emitting radionuclides preferred.
- Highly motivated and organized professional with the ability to work both with a team and independently.
- Multi-disciplined radiochemist with GMP experience, preferrable.
