You will take new strains through laboratory characterisation to pilot production, design scalable manufacturing protocols, and collaborate closely with global manufacturing teams to ensure product excellence. Required Skills:- Strong background in fermentation science, biotechnology, or related fields
- Expertise in yeast physiology and its industrial applications
- Proven ability in scientific research, experimental design, and data analysis
- Experience with literature reviews and application of statistical software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly explain complex data to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong numeracy and mathematical skills
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience in process engineering or bioprocess scale-up
- Familiarity with active yeast production or similar fermentation products
- Previous hands-on involvement in manufacturing trials and technology transfer
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in fermentation science, biotechnology, or related disciplines
Preferred Education and Experience:- Bachelor of Science with majors in Fermentation Science, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline (required)
- Research degree (Masters or PhD) preferred
- Significant experience in fermentation and scale-up processes, ideally within an industrial setting
Other Requirements:- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to manufacturing sites for on-site support and deployment of new technologies
