Scientist - Flow Cytometry

About the company/role:

• Australia's most comprehensive quality-accredited specialty laboratory services organization.
• Responsible for developing and conducting assays across a wide variety of therapeutic areas to ensure the success of their client's clinical trials and preclinical studies
• Located close to Melbourne CBD
• Permanent role
• Full-time position

Duties:

• Running immunological assays via flow cytometry
• Analyzing results
• Assisting with the development, optimisation and validation of immunological assays
• Preparing data and reports
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Updating SOPs and other associated documentation

About you:

• Master’s Degree or PhD qualification in Biological Sciences or closely related discipline required.
• Demonstrated experience and thorough understanding of flow cytometry
• FACS analysis software experience preferred but not essential
• Experience in a highly regulated environment following ISO 17025, GMP, NATA or similar is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
