Reporting to the Head of QCAT you will be responsible for the management and delivery of small projects and project deliverables. You will develop and coordinate associated experimental and documentation activities to ensure timely communication and completion of deliverables
Duties: Reporting to the head of QCAT you will be responsible for the management and delivery of small projects and project deliverables in the biochemistry team. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare, review and update standard operating procedures, test procedures, protocols and associated documentation
Method development and validation of immunoassays including ELISAs
Develop experimental studies for the implementation of new methods and innovative technologies
Responsible for the development of experimental plans including estimated materials, times and resources required for the identified work
Identify, plan and execute testing requirements to complete studies with the appropriate documentation and presentation of results and findings.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology or other relevant scientific discipline. Relevant post-graduate qualification (Masters or Doctorate degree) is an advantage
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in method development or method validation for analysis of therapeutic products within a cGMP environment is essential
Experience performing experiments within a GMP environment is highly desirable
Experience with molecular biology techniques and automated systems such as Nephelometry, ELISA, Immunoassays is an advantage
