About the company/role:
Our client is a global industrial chemical company and a major player in the Australian and New Zealand market for agricultural and crop health applications.
We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager. This role is critical in supporting the implementation of regulatory strategies, managing product registrations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across Australia and New Zealand.

Your role will involve (but is not limited to):

  • Coordinate and submit regulatory applications to meet registration goals and timelines
  • Update registration plans based on regulatory or product-related changes
  • Assess requirements and commission studies to support new and existing product labels
  • Advise internal teams on regulatory risks to guide decision-making
  • Monitor and share updates on regulatory and industry standards with local teams and overseas
  • Track regulatory changes in Australia and New Zealand
  • Ensure compliance with ANZ label, SDS, and product regulations
Skills & experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science/Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Proven experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the crop protection or agrochemical industry is highly beneficial
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and submission processes in ANZ
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of pesticide application technology and risk assessment is highly regarded
