R&D Technologist

About the company/role:
Our client is a ready-to-eat meal manufacturer with a state-of-the-art facility based in Western Sydney. They supply innovative meal solutions to major retailers across Australia. This is a permanent role with standard office hours.
 
Duties:

• Development and implementation of new products, processes and packaging
• Project management from initiation through to completion
• Running factory trials accurately and to production schedule
• Administration and data recording of all trial information
• Liaise with members of various departments

Skills/experience:

• Degree qualifications in Food Science or equivalent essential
• Recent experience in a PD role with RTE meals and meat products is preferable
• Proven understanding of all legislative requirements required for labelling and products
• Creative and ability to think outside the box combined with a positive, driven and determined personality
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Liaise and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
