Quality Systems Coordinator

About the company/role:
Our client is a leading cheese processing company with over 250 employees across Australia. They supply speciality cheese products to retailers and foodservice markets. Their western Sydney site is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Coordinator to join their team. This role will report directly to the GM – Quality. This is a permanent role with standard office hours.
 
Duties:

• Maintain and upgrade the QMS
• Create and update all quality related documentation -quality manual, HACCP plans, SOPs, specification sheets, new polices
• Roll out new procedures at production level
• Ensure products are compliant with legal requirements
• Direct involvement with internal and external audits
• Lead continuous improvement projects
• Deliver food safety and quality training to other stakeholders

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, BRC, FFSE, ISO standards
• Experience in the food/ beverage industry essential
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to implement new processes and procedures
• Be approachable and enthusiastic
