Quality Manager

About the company/role:
Our client is a food ingredient manufacturer supplying B2B. They are seeking an experienced senior level quality candidate to step into a Quality Manager role for a 3-month period. This is a full-time, day shift role based in Western Sydney. The role will have 3 direct reports and will report directly to the Site Leader.
 
Duties:

• Manage site operations and provide daily support from a quality perspective
• Lead customer complaint management and implement corrective actions
• Provide leadership and direction to the quality team members
• Oversee daily QMS activities – compliance with standards and polices
• Manage quality administrative duties related to reporting, auditing, documentation

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience working in a senior level quality role in the food industry
• Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
• Previous people management experience is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven self-starter who enjoys a hands-on role
