About the company/role:
Our client is a fast-growing Australian TGA licensed manufacturer of complementary medicine with a diverse range of products. This role is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional looking to develop their skills in manufacturing, documentation and regulatory compliance. You will be working with a team of highly skilled Quality professionals, reporting to the Head of Quality.
 
Duties:
  • Prepare raw material and finished product specifications
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Prepare regulatory documentation and work with certifications and regulatory bodies such as TGA, SQF, etc.
  • Review labels, cartons and foil proofs for TGO 92 compliance
  • Manage deviation and change control programs
  • Assist in internal and external audits (TGA GMP, APVMA)
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints
  • Conduct GMP training and support staff development
  • Release finished product with regulatory compliance across domestic and export markets

Skills/experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline
  • QA experience in complementary medicines or pharmaceuticals with batch release experience is highly regarded
  • Strong working knowledge of TGA, GMP, HACCP, ACO requirements
  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across all teams and levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A motivated fast learner with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong initiative to lead others
