QC Officer

About company/role:

• Plastics manufacturing company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Looking for multiple QC Officers to join the team on afternoon and night shift
• 1x afternoon shift available
• 2x night shift available
• Casual, full-time contract with strong view to go permanent
• Full training provided on day shift for 3 months

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Monitoring production processes through routine physical QC testing and visual inspections of products
• Ensuring GMP standards are maintained within the production area
• Reviewing, updating and writing relevant documentation
• Data entry into Microsoft Excel and SAP
• Liaising with the internal stakeholders

Skills/experience required:

• Tertiary education in Science or Engineering
• Previous QC experience in food or plastics manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with blow moulding machines/products is highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of GMP standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong initiative
