Major pharmaceutical company who manufacture personal care products
Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
Seeking an experienced QC Chemist to join their afternoon shift
3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday
Permanent, full-time opportunity
Duties:
Sampling of raw materials when required
Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation
Test and release packaging materials and artwork
Liaising with Warehouse personnel in regards to raw material deliveries
Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained
Skills & experience:
Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or related discipline
Demonstrated industry experience within a GMP enviornment
Understanding of chemistry techniques, including wet chemistry and analytical techniques
HPLC experience within a GMP environment is highly regarded
Excellent communication skills
Good with time management and organisation
