About the Company/Role: Our client is a leading Australian radiopharmaceutical manufacturer currently expanding operations in Brisbane. They are seeking a permanent, full-time
Quality Control Chemist to join their growing team.
In this role, you will perform analytical testing of in-process and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and classical wet chemistry. You will also contribute to data analysis, reporting, and documentation review and development.
Due to the nature of the operations, this position requires availability for early morning shifts, commencing at 4:30am, Monday to Friday.
Duties:- Conduct quality control testing and equipment calibration in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare and manage reference standards and reagents
- Analyse data and generate reports against product specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
- Support the development and review of technical documentation
- Assist with validation of equipment, products, and processes as required
- Troubleshoot issues and perform routine equipment maintenance
- Participate in investigations relating to Out of Trend (OOT) and Out of Specification (OOS) results
- Act as an Authorised Person – Release for Use
Skills & Experience: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in science or pharmaceuticals (Chemistry preferred)
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, including method development and optimisation for complex samples
- Previous experience in a radiopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical (GMP), or related industry (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
