QC Chemist

About company/role:

• Cosmetic Contract Manufacturing Company seeking QC Chemist to join their team
• 12 month contract
• Monday to Friday, normal business hours
• Based in Northern suburbs

Duties:

• Routine analysis of packaging and raw materials (wet chemistry, physical testing, analytical techniques)
• Data analysis and batch release
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Follow company protocols and procedures
• Data entry and documentation
• General laboratory housekeeping

Skills/experience:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline 
• 1-2 years of demonstrated experience within a pharmaceutical or cosmetics laboratory performing QC testing 
• Good understanding of GMP
• Ability to interpret and deliver results
• High attention to detail
• Good communication and excellent time management
