QC Chemist

About the company/role:

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization
• Based in the Eastern suburbs
• 3–4-month contract position with potential for extension 
• Immediate start

As this is a short-term contract position, WHVs with pharmaceutical experience are encouraged to apply!

Duties:
 
Reporting to the QC Manager, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform sampling of raw and packaging materials, APIs, finished products, cleaning and stability samples 
• Participate in out of specification, out of trend and laboratory investigations when required 
• Ensure instrumentation is within calibration before using it for analysis
• Documentation adherence to GMP and other associated regulations. 

Skills/experience:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry or related discipline
• 2-5 years of demonstration pharmaceutical experience in QC testing raw materials, APIs and finished goods
• Strong experience in HPLC and GC. Experience using Empower is highly desired
•  Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
