QA/QC Officer

About the company:

• Our client is a well-known plastics contract manufacturing company with an aim to reduce waste by recycling and reusing resources.
• This company is located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
• Monday to Friday 
• Start on day shift (7am-3pm) and move onto night shift (11pm-7am)
• Ongoing contract with potential to go permanent

About the role:

• Monitoring production processes through routine physical QC testing and visual inspections of products.
• Ensuring GMP standards are maintained within the production area.
• Reviewing, updating and writing relevant documentation.
• Conducting GMP audits.
• Liaising with the internal and external stakeholders.

About you:

• To be successful for this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or relevant discipline.
• Similar manufacturing experience would be ideal
• You will be a driven, quality focussed individual who is eager to learn.
• Proactive attitude
• Great communication skills
• Graduates are highly encouraged to apply
