About the Company/role:
Based in Southern Sydney, this manufacturing company has a diverse range of products that are created by a team of highly experienced formulators with naturopathy, nutrition and chemistry backgrounds. Our client ensures that the products they create are truly effective and have proven health benefits. Our client is looking for QA Officer who will be responsible for release of new products, managing timelines, assisting with all activities related to Quality Document Control, Customer Services, Supplier Qualification and assist with external audits.
 
Responsbilities include:
  • Manage the day to day running of the Document Control department for NPI
  • Oversee projects related to new products
  • Manage timelines and working closely with NPD and marketing & sales team
  • Participate in external audits
  • Strengthen the business partnerships with commercial and Supply Chain operations
  • Assist in managing all activities related to new business initiatives, customer service and new project implementation (change control management and pre-production implementations)
  • Knowledge of new and proposed legislation that impacts the business
  • Investigate discrepancies, errors, complaints, and failures
  • Assist in managing the projects and look to drive process improvements with system enhancements and new platforms.
Skills & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or a related subject
  • Experience in a QA role within the manufacturing industry (pharma, food, med device)
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulations - TGA, GMP, GLP
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask is essential
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
