About the company:Our client is a well-known food manufacturer based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne specialising in the supply of baked goods to FMCG organisations.
About the roleCollaborating with key internal departments is a prerequisite for this role therefore the ability to have strong communication skills is a must.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Help create new specification sheets for new and existing products/SKU's
- Update documentation
- Ensure GMP standards are met
- Assist in conducting internal and external audits
- Assisting investigation of customer complaints
- Facilitating the collection of samples for Microbiological & Chemistry testing
- Raising any issues in manufacturing/Production that may occur
- Sensory Evaluation as required
- General housekeeping as required
Skills and Experience- Tertiary qualifications in food chemistry/ food science are preferable.
- Must have experience working with retailers
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is ideal.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to deliver results.
- You will have strong communication skills with ability to challenge and improve on existing processes.
- This role is to work on day shift only 8am-4pm
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
