QA Associate

About the company/role:

• Well-known pharmaceutical company based close to CBD
• Onsite, full-time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Normal business hours 
• Casual contact till the end of September
• Open to Working Holiday Visas

Duties, but not limited to:

• Review manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy for further processing and batch release
• Perform visual inspections on products
• Support batch release and the quality team
• Review and approve document controls to ensure compliance
• Reporting on product quality and general GMP status
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary education in a relevant science discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical, Biology or similar)
• 3+ years in a GMP environment within pharmaceutical, biotech or other highly regulated environment
• Strong understanding of GMP principles
• Knowledge of TGA, FDA, EMA requirements
• Experience working in production and batch release will be highly regarded
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
• Great organisational and time management skills
