Production Operator

About the company/role:
We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to join clients in a fast-paced dairy and food manufacturing environment. These roles will be operating on Day shift and Afternoon Shift and involves operating machinery, packing final products, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. 
 
Duties:

• Operate and monitor food manufacturing machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Pack and label final dairy and food products for distribution
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product consistency and compliance
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas in line with food safety regulations
• Accurately complete production documentation and logs
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and products (forklift operation if licensed)
• Report equipment faults or production issues promptly to supervisors 

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience in food or dairy manufacturing preferred
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Good communication and time management skills
• Forklift license (highly regarded but not essential)
• Understanding of HACCP and GMP standards (desirable)
