Production Chemist to join their team on a
permanent, full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. As a Production Chemist, you will play an important role in the
manufacture of radiopharmaceutical products, while also supporting laboratory activities, data analysis, reporting, and quality documentation.
Please note: Due to the nature of the manufacturing operation, you must be available to work
early morning, day and night shifts on a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture radiopharmaceutical products in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards
- Assist with reagent preparation, testing and laboratory activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant operational procedures and the company’s Quality Management System
- Assist with the preparation, review and ongoing development of controlled documentation
- Support data analysis, reporting and accurate record keeping
- Assist with labelling, packing, dispatch and logistics activities as required
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety and compliance within the production and laboratory environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure production activities are completed safely, accurately and on schedule
Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A tertiary qualification in Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, laboratory, manufacturing or GMP environment will be highly regarded
- Working knowledge of GMP guidelines and standards is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
- Flexibility and availability to work early morning, day and night shifts on a rotating roster
