About the role:We are looking for a practical and reliable Process Operator who enjoys taking ownership of their work.
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen.This is a hands-on, highly independent position where you will manage your own daily priorities, operate processing equipment and prepare materials for further testing.
The environment is clean and organised but can be dusty, with a mix of processing and warehouse-based work.
Duties:- Operate crushing, milling and grinding equipment
- Sort and prepare materials for further processing
- Manage your own workload, priorities and turnaround times
- Receive, move and organise samples within the warehouse
- Operate a forklift and complete occasional manual handling
- Maintain accurate sample records and documentation
- Assist with pilot plant setup when required
- Follow established safety procedures and SOPs
Skills/experience:- Previous machine, process or production operator experience
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable with repetitive processing and sorting tasks
- Able to occasionally lift approximately 16–25kg
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures
- Must be willing and able to complete government security clearance process
Experience within manufacturing, production, materials processing, construction products or similar environments will be highly regarded.
