We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading packaging and logistics client based in Erskine Park for a Process Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean and modern production environment, supporting a newly established pilot process within a well-known organisation.


About the Role
Working within a processing line environment, you will be responsible for handling reusable plastic crates, pallets, and bins. The role primarily involves sorting, scanning, quality checking, and forklift operation. This position is well suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have a strong eye for detail, and thrive in both independent and team-based environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to move large pallets (60% of the role)
• Sorting pallets into appropriate categories (40% of the role)
• Scanning and checking barcodes to ensure functionality
• Conducting quality checks and identifying faults or issues
• Manual handling of pallets
• Working independently and collaboratively within a small team

Key Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Employment type: Contractor – Ongoing work for the suitable candidate.
• Location: Erskine Park

About You

• Previous experience in production, warehousing, or packing environments is preferred
• Experience sorting and conducting quality checks is advantageous
• Valid Forklift licence is essential
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to contribute to shaping a new process
