Plant Operator
We’re seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to assist with sorting paint samples in one of Australia’s largest recycling and waste management businesses based in the Southeast of Melbourne

Position Details:

• Start Date: as soon as possible
• Duration: 2 months (temporary leave cover)
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organise paint samples in accordance with company procedures
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing 15–20kg
• Operate a forklift to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Follow all site safety and operational procedures

Requirements:

• Current and valid Forklift Licence
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work and manual handling tasks
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or waste management environment is advantageous
