About the Role
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Brisbane's western suburbs, is seeking a
Project Support Officer to join their Technical Services team on a casual ongoing contract, working Monday to Friday.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic manufacturing projects that improve business continuity, optimise manufacturing processes, and deliver cost savings. Working closely with Technical Services and cross-functional stakeholders, you will provide project governance, coordination and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives.
Duties: - Provide project management support and governance across site transfer projects and other strategic Technical Services initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities relating to technology transfers, process improvements, process validation and Cost of Goods (COGS) reduction projects.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, risks and key deliverables.
- Prepare project reports, status updates and presentations for Technical Services management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support business initiatives focused on compliance, operational excellence, continuous improvement and customer service.
- Complete GMP documentation in accordance with cGMP standards.
Skills & Experience:- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other GMP-regulated manufacturing industry.
- Experience supporting or delivering cross-functional projects, process improvements, validation activities or operational excellence initiatives.
- A sound understanding of GMP/cGMP requirements and quality systems.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Validation or a similar technical function, with an interest in transitioning into a project-focused role.
