About the company Our client, a Global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry, requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Microbiology Analyst to join their team. This is a 12-month contract with view to extension and is based in the city.
About the role Reporting to the Team Leader, you will perform Microbial plate reading of raw materials, Environmental monitoring and Water in compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations to ensure product specifications are met.
The duties of the successful candidate may include:- Perform Microbial plate reading and microbial identification
- Perform growth promotion testing of media plates and cassettes
- Bioburden testing
- Perform result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Assist with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
- Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures.
To be successful in this position you will have:- A Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
- 2-3 years experience within GMP environment performing bioburden and endotoxin testing and environmental monitoring.
- Knowledge or working experience with Plate reading and Microbial identification
- Great communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
