I'm currently partnering with a pharmaceutical client in search for a highly motivated Medical Sales Representative to drive growth within the hospital channel across the Central region of Malaysia. This role will focus on promoting ethical pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals in public and private hospitals, building strong clinical relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Promote and detail assigned pharmaceutical products to specialists, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within hospitals
  • Drive product adoption and utilization through effective clinical engagement and scientific detailing
  • Achieve sales targets, call activity KPIs, and territory objectives
  • Identify opportunities for formulary listing, hospital tenders, and product inclusion
  • Organise and support CME events, product presentations, and hospital educational activities
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and hospital dynamics, providing insights to management
  • Collaborate with internal teams (medical, marketing, regulatory) to ensure aligned execution of strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and territory performance
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales within the hospital channel
  • Proven experience engaging with specialists and hospital-based healthcare professionals
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and formulary systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
