Hands-on workshop-based role ideal for trade-qualified or mechanically minded candidates who enjoy assembling, troubleshooting, and working with equipment
Suitable for Fitters, Maintenance Fitters, Mechanical Assemblers, Automotive Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and similar trades

Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Assemble, build, and test mechanical products and equipment
Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and maintenance tasks
Inspect, fault-find, and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Repair and rework products where required
Read and follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and procedures
Prepare components and sub-assemblies for production
Support workshop operations, inventory management, and stock control
Maintain production records and update internal systems
Identify and escalate quality, safety, or process concerns
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills/experience required:
Mechanical trade qualification or strong mechanical aptitude
Experience as a Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Automotive Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Toolmaker, or similar trade
Previous experience in manufacturing, workshop, maintenance, production, or assembly environments
Confident using hand and power tools
Ability to fault-find, troubleshoot, and solve mechanical problems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Forklift licence (LF) advantageous but not essential
Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
