About the Role
Join a well‑established pharmaceutical manufacturer specialising in high‑quality personal care products. We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with strong GMP knowledge and a background in regulated, high‑volume production environments.
This position offers genuine career progression
  • Ongoing contract with potential for permanency
  • Monday–Friday, Day Shift (7am–3pm)
  • Located in Melbourne’s South‑Eastern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust automated and semi‑automated production machinery
  • Perform accurate product packing, labelling, and in‑process quality checks
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and escalate mechanical issues
  • Troubleshoot minor machine faults to minimise downtime and maintain line efficiency
  • Adhere to GMP, SOPs, and all site safety and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement initiatives

About You
  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience as a line setter or line leader is highly regarded
  • Proven capability as a Machine Operator working with filling, packing, or labelling equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting skills on production lines
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to product quality and compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities, and support smooth line performance
