About the company: Our client is a Global Beverage manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the Australian and Global markets. They are seeking to appoint several
Machine Operators in their Packing Department
to join their team on an on-going contract basis,
with a strong view to go permanent. This company is located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
These roles will involve
12 hour day shifts working 6am to 6 pm on a 7 day fortnight. Week 1: Mon, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday $33.00/hr About the role: Reporting to the Production/Packing supervisor, your duties may include:
- Working on the filling line
- Involved in cleaning, changeovers, stoppages and 5S duties
- Ensuring all filling machinery is running smoothly and that line start up and end of run tasks are complete
- Performing adjustments and changes to production equipment as required
- Maintaining batch documentation
- Following regulations and SOP's to GMP standards
- Maintaining safety
About you:- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in the Food or Beverage Industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot on machines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Current fork lift license is desired, but not essential
- Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in a GMP, FMCG environment
- HACCP knowledge
- Forklift license bonus but not essential
