About the role: Working hours will vary, there are many shifts available so a having a flexible schedule is ideal. You decide if you want to gain overtime and weekend work. This is a consistent, casual on going full-time position with a
strong possibility of
transitioning into a permanent position within 6-12 months of starting.
As a
Liquid Tanker Driver / Industrial Service Operator, you will operate specialised vacuum tankers and liquid waste vehicles. The role involves the safe extraction, transport, and disposal of liquid waste, as well as supporting industrial service activities across customer sites. You will conduct basic maintenance, equipment checks, and assist with a range of operational tasks that support the broader business.
Responsibilities:- Liquid waste collection from customer sites using vacuum tankers
- Transporting waste materials to approved recycling and treatment facilities
- Drain and pit cleaning using vacuum extraction equipment
- High‑pressure water blasting inside tanks, pits, and industrial assets
- Assisting with industrial cleaning and site service projects
- Completing work to a standard that meets customer expectations
- Performing daily maintenance, pre‑start checks, and safety inspections on vehicles and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and operational procedures
Must have:- HC truck license
- Experience within the water industry, in particular within construction and rehabilitation of water or sewer networks (Industrial experience preferred)
- Commitment to work safety and ability to work in a team
- Confined space and Working at Heights (desirable)
- Drain cleaning ticker (desirable)
