About the company: Our client is a leading provider in chemical manufacturing across Australia and New Zealand. They assist manufacturers and Australian brands, from large Australian household names to smaller boutique companies with customised formulation of chemicals.
About the role: The role is an ongoing
part-time position (20-25 hours) across Monday-Friday (flexible with start and finish times), with a view to grow with the company and potential for increased hours in the future.
Reporting to the lab supervisor, your main responsibilities may include:
- Testing samples for pH, viscosity, density, emulsion, particle size etc.
- Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Potential operation of HPLC
- General housekeeping
You will be a quality-focused individual with good attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently.
About you:- Previous experience in laboratory-based position conducting similar testing is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Cert IV in Laboratory techniques (or similar) is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- In addition to this, you will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
