About the role:
Our client, a leading company in the
dairy industry, is seeking a Lab Technician with a background in Microbiology to join their team. This is a 6-week contract role with the possibility of extension, working 5 days a week on a flexible roster. Weekend availability is a must.
Duties:- Conduct microbiological testing of dairy products
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lab
- Assist with documentation and reporting
Skills/Experience:- Tertiary qualifications in Microbiology / Food Science or equivalent
- Previous lab experience in a similar role required
- Experience in the dairy industry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
