Short term contract role with potential for extension
Based in Perth, supporting laboratory operations within a busy production environment.
Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm.
Hands-on laboratory position involving sample preparation, testing, analysis, and data recording.

About your duties:
Sample weighing, preparation, and processing.
Perform wet chemistry procedures including digestions, titrations, and related laboratory techniques.
Conduct analysis of samples using analytical instrumentation such as XRF.
Accurately record and enter laboratory data.
Assist with the maintenance and organisation of laboratory equipment and materials.
Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment.
Follow laboratory procedures, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
Support laboratory operations to ensure testing schedules and turnaround times are met.
About you:
Previous laboratory experience within mining, minerals, cement, environmental, or industrial testing environments would be highly regarded.
Experience performing sample preparation and wet chemistry techniques is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable performing routine and repetitive laboratory tasks.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
