About the company/role:Based in the south of Sydney, this well-known government organisation undertakes research in nuclear science and technology and provides specialised advice to government, industry, academia and other research organisations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Sample preparation and testing of samples
- Prepare necessary documentation for reporting results
- Calibrations and checks of laboratory equipment
- Carry out various lab activities including electrophoresis, distillation, dilutions
- General laboratory housekeeping
Skills & experience:- Tertiary qualifications in science
- Hold a current driving licence + car
- Conduct routine and non-routine experiments under minimal supervision
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail
