About the Role:
Seeking a Laboratory Cleaner for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer based in Carole Park (QLD, 4300). This is a consistent, casual full-time position, Monday through Friday 6am – 2pm, for approximately 12-months with potential for extension. 

Duties:
  • Clean glassware as per procedures and return laboratory glassware to their designated locations.
  • Maintaining clean laboratory sinks, benches and washbays. 
  • Solvent handling/waste disposal.
  • Keeping inventory of broken glassware and cleaning supplies, and arranging reordering.
  • Adhering to cleaning schedules - basic data entry.
  • Must be comfortable to lift up to 10kg.

**Please note this role requires candidates to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and international police checks. 

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate MUST have the following:
  • Experience working in a GMP facility is highly desirable.
  • 1-2 years of domestic and/or commercial cleaning experience.
  • Great chemical awareness.
  • Previous training and/or qualifications in chemical handling/safety is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude to your work and desire to do a great job.
  • Current license and own vehicle.
  • Must have unlimited work rights – must be able to work 38 hours a week.
