Lab Assistant

About company/role:

• Cosmetic Contract Manufacturing Company seeking Lab Assistant to join their team
• 6-month contract role with potential for permanency
• Monday to Friday, standard working hours
• Based in Northern suburbs

Duties:

• Receipting samples into the lab
• Preparing samples for dispatch to external testing partners
• Monitoring and producing raw material standards 
• Assisting with calibrations of instruments
• General laboratory housekeeping
• Environmental monitoring

Skills/experience:

• Diploma of Science or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques
• Great attitude and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and excellent time management
