Food Science Students

About the company/role:

• Food manufacturing company
• Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking an enthusiastic Food Science student to join the team
• 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
• Casual contract
• October start

Duties, but not limited to:

• Assist within NPD creating samples, cooking products and sensory evluations
• Assist in laboratory administration setting up laboratory equipment, documentation, calibrations and write up of protocols
• Work with Marketing & Sales to evaluate samples and final products
• General laboratory housekeeping

Skills/experience:

• Currently studying Food Science & Technology (2nd or 3rd year continuing studies)
• Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong willingness to learn
