Work with a major food/beverage manufacturing company within the QC team
Based in Western suburbs of Melbourne
3-4 months casual contract working 12-16 hours a week.
Seeking current students in Food Science or Microbiology
Duties, but not limited to:
Collecting samples from manufacturing line
Sample registration and logging into the system
Microbiology media preparation
Data entry and result compilation
Check and fill-in quality paperwork
General housekeeping and maintenance of lab
Skills/experience:
Currently studying a Bachelor in Food science, Microbiology, or similar (second year students preferred)
Good understanding of chemistry analytical skills
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards
Excellent communication skills and time management
Must have a car
