Evolve Scientific Recruitment is currently partnering with a Technical Services Organization in search for a Construction Materials Testing Specialist. This position involves both laboratory and site-based responsibilities, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver accurate testing results and technical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and perform construction materials testing activities at laboratory and project sites.
Conduct technical assessments on concrete, soil and other construction materials using recognised testing methodologies.
Review engineering drawings, project specifications and testing requirements to determine appropriate testing approaches.
Analyse and interpret test results, providing clear technical conclusions and recommendations.
Prepare, review and verify technical reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Support laboratory quality systems and maintain compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members where required.
Liaise with clients and project stakeholders regarding testing activities and technical findings.
Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and site safety procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
Experience in construction materials testing, laboratory operations or engineering quality assurance.
Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
Experience working within accredited laboratory environments will be advantageous.
