About the company: A leading organisation in a highly regulated industry is seeking a
Communications Specialist to join their Corporate & External Affairs team on a fixed‑term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging internal communications, partnering with stakeholders, and supporting culture‑building initiatives across multiple sites.
About the Role In this position, you will support internal communications across the Australian business, including HR, payroll, safety and site‑based updates. You will work closely with teams across three manufacturing locations and provide secondary support to a global partner organisation.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys writing, content creation, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities: - Creating and managing internal content (articles, stories, communication plans)
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Using multimedia channels, including basic filming and video editing
- Developing presentations and simple design materials
- Managing stakeholders and balancing competing priorities
- Supporting employee culture and engagement initiatives
- Delivering communications on employee benefits, leadership updates, and site activities
- Planning and executing internal communication strategies with cross‑functional teams
Skills and experience:- Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Ability to juggle priorities and work collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, English, Journalism, or similar
