About the role:

Based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, this C&Q Engineer will be employed for a period of 6 months within one of Evolve Scientific’s largest pharmaceuticals clients. This engineer will be working alongside the process engineering team and will be responsible for driving all necessary commissioning and qualification of onsite equipment.


Main responsibilities:
 
  • DMS maintenance
  • Preparation of Qualification/Commissioning protocols and reports
  • Qualification/Commissioning test equipment maintenance
  • All activities are to be performed in compliance with relevant regulatory codes and guidance’s.
  • Prepare, implement, and maintain departmental documentation for activities and regulatory submissions.
  • Actively participate in problem solving and identify opportunities for improvement to optimise activities.
  • Assist with HS&E risk assessments and the implementation of safety improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, Process Engineering, Project Delivery, Execution System.
  • PALM Validation, PALM Stability, Value Streams, R&D, QC staff and others, to ensure that activities are planned and delivered in an efficient timeframe
  • Ensure training is maintained and train new staff as required.
 
To be considered for the role, the ideal candidates must have:
 
  • A relevant engineering or science degree (this can be substituted by the below)
  • Prior experience in qualification and commissioning of highly regulated equipment.
    • This means any experience from dairy, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other associated biotech experience.
  • Computer literacy and experience using Microsoft applications.
  • Strong PLC/SAP experience
  • Sound knowledge of industry guidance documents and standards, with a good understanding of Qualification/Commissioning principles.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with changing priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Deliver task in time according to schedule/due dates.
